Playing catch-up!

I've finally gotten around to working on some "old" pictures... by old I mean a few months... but when you're talking about babies that can make HUGE difference! Back in April I had taken tons of pictures of Rigan for Easter and most of them were really good! I miss him at this age, even though it was only a few short months ago, he's grown and changed so much, I miss him being little! Of course in a few more months I'll be saying the same about him today. It was so hard to choose my favorites so this post is going to be very "picture heavy"!

I gave him a bunch of Easter Eggs to play with and use as props but he just wanted to put them in his mouth!

These last two are the same picture just one is in color and the other b/w. I love this one and will have it printed in the b/w version to hang in our home "gallery".

I realize these are a lot of "head-shots" and not much changes in the composition but when I was taking the pictures I was just so in LOVE with his eyes that I wanted to capture how big, beautiful and round they were/ are. Also, his eyes were a lot more blue than they are now, so I'm glad I did!!! You can still see a little blue in them when he's in the sunlight and I hope they stay that way!

7th row: K2tog, repeat across

You should have 9 stitches left. Purl 1 row, Knit next row… continue until stem measures 3 ½”. Bind off and stitch up the side with yarn. Tie the long “stem” into a knot. Enjoy!

Hat & Booties

Today I typed up directions for a friend on how to make Baby Booties and a Baby Hat. I've had these hand written directions for many years and I've made many sets but have NEVER photographed the finished product! Since I was taking the time to type them out I thought a picture of them would be nice to have with the directions. My little Rigan is not very little anymore so the hat was a tad bit small. Thankfully though, the booties were size 6-12mo so they still fit! As usual I didn't just take one picture so I thought I would share a few here.

He didn't really want to sit still but a little distraction with the water hose got his attention for a second.

It wasn't easy to get this smile... Mommy has to act like a nut sometimes!

He really wanted that hose... and of course the end went straight into his mouth... YUCK!

I must have really acted like I was going crazy to get this one... Maybe I should move our photo shoots to the back yard... my neighbors must sit at their windows and laugh!!!

Here's the booties... they really are adorable and lots of fun to make!

My next 2 posts will be the directions on how to make these projects, you can also click on the names above and you'll be directed to those posts. Enjoy!
